The data controller is MA.R.S. Robotic Systems S.L., with registered office at Calle José Burguera 37, 46400 Cullera (Valencia), Spain, CIF B93254803.

No Data Protection Officer has been appointed: under Article 37 GDPR and Article 34 of Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), our activity does not fall within the categories for which a DPO is mandatory.

Special category data in your CV

Please avoid including in your CV or message any information revealing racial or ethnic origin, health, religious beliefs, trade union membership or sexual orientation, unless directly relevant to the role. If you choose to include such information, we will treat it as data you have voluntarily and explicitly provided for the sole purpose of evaluating your application, and for no other purpose.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the site. None of them may use your data for their own purposes.

  • Vercel, Inc.Hosting, serverless functions, file storage (Vercel Blob)Runs the site and stores CV files. A Data Processing Addendum with Standard Contractual Clauses is in place for any transfer outside the EEA.
  • Neon, Inc.Database (contact and application records)Stores the structured data submitted through the forms. Neon relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses as transfer safeguards.
  • Sendinblue SAS (Brevo)Transactional email notificationsA French company that processes and stores this data within the EU; no transfer outside the EEA takes place for this purpose.
  • Google WorkspaceBusiness mailbox (info@ and ciro@marsroboticsystems.com)The content of form notifications is also accessible in our own mailbox, hosted on Google Workspace.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC)Website analytics, only if you consentGoogle LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795).

International transfers

Some of the providers above are US-based companies (Vercel, Neon, Google), even where the underlying infrastructure runs on servers located in the EU. Where a transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area occurs, we rely on the safeguards listed above — Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework — as recognised transfer mechanisms under Chapter V GDPR.

Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) processes data entirely within the EU for the purposes described here, with no international transfer involved.

Retention periods

Contact requests and job applications, including CV files, are kept for 12 months from submission and then automatically and permanently deleted by an automated process.

Rate-limiting logs (hashed IP addresses) are kept for 24 hours. Admin session cookies expire after 8 hours.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may exercise the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — obtain confirmation of whether we process your data, and a copy of it
  • Rectification — correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — request deletion where there is no legitimate reason for us to keep it
  • Restriction — limit how we use your data in specific circumstances
  • Portability — receive data you provided in a structured, commonly used format
  • Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interest
  • Withdraw consent — for analytics, at any time, without affecting past processing

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@marsroboticsystems.com, including proof of identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your own country of residence.

Security measures

We apply the following technical measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) across the entire site
  • CV files stored privately, never publicly accessible
  • File content validated on upload; files carrying active or executable content are rejected
  • IP addresses used for anti-abuse checks are cryptographically hashed, never stored in plain text
  • Staff login sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies with an 8-hour expiry
  • Automated, scheduled deletion of data past its retention period

Minors

This website is a B2B site addressed to industry professionals and is not directed at minors. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

We may update this policy as the service evolves or the law changes. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision; we encourage you to check it periodically.
